Qualitative Quantitative Estimation can be used in two directions:
- Determine the trend, i.e. if the line is above the level 50 line, the trend is ascending, if below – descending;
- Search for signals at the moment of the crossing of the main (bold) and signal (dashed) lines.
One of the advantages of using QQE indicator based strategy is that this presetting of rules could be done easier compared to a non-indicator based strategy.

- Copy mq4 and ex4 files to your Metatrader Directory …/experts/indicators /
- Copy the “TraderVersity.Com-EMAQQEScalpingSystem.tpl” file (template) to your Metatrader Directory …/templates /
- Start or restart your Metatrader Client
- Select Chart and Timeframe where you want to test your forex system
- Right click on your trading chart and hover on “Template”
- Move right to select TraderVersity.Com-EMAQQEScalpingSystem
- You will see “EMA QQE Based Scalping and Day Trading System” is available on your Chart
- Price should be above the 50 EMA (red line) and 10 EMA (black line)
- The 50 EMA and 10EMA should be sloping upwards
- The 10 EMA above 50EMA
- Both QQE lines should be above the 50% level
- The blue QQE line should be sloping upwards
- Price should be below the 50 EMA (red line) and 10 EMA (black line)
- The 50 EMA and 10EMA should be sloping downwards
- The 10 EMA below 50EMA
- Both QQE lines should be above the 50% level
- The blue QQE line should be sloping upwards
The trading rules above are just a prerequisite for us to enter a long trade. What we should be looking for is a crossover between the fast (dashed line) and the slow (solid blue line) QQE lines.
We only enter the trade if the slow QQE crosses over the fast QQE line going up. This would be the trigger for us to enter the trade.
