Vortex Gain Modified MT4 System is a “trend following” strategy based on the Vortex Indicator. The Vortex Indicator is a technical indicator invented by Etienne Botes and Douglas Siepman to identify the start of a new trend or the continuation of an existing trend within financial markets.

• Time Frame: M15 or higher
• Currency Pairs: GBPUSD, EURUSD, USDJPY

• Vortex green line above the red line and > 1.05
• FGF_BURDYS and FGF_FBURD indicators draw blue bar
• Step-MA and Buzzer Line lime color

 

• Vortex green line below the red line and < 0.95
• FGF_BURDYS and FGF_FBURD indicators draw red bar
• Step-MA and Buzzer Line magenta color

 

• Use a demo account or a small live account first to practice this trading strategy
• Exit trade when indicators turn against your trade direction.
• A trailing stop could be applied, stop loss for it depends on the timeframe
• A stop loss should be placed at previous low or high
• Find the currency pair in trend and trades only in the direction of the major trend
